Andrew Elowitt JD MBA PCC is the founder and managing director of New Actions LLC. Twenty-five years of experience as a business lawyer and executive have provided him with a first-hand appreciation for how interpersonal skills such as building consensus, developing conflict competence, negotiating, delegating, mentoring, and giving feedback are the keys to leadership that gets results. He coaches executives, lawyers, and corporate legal departments throughout North America in the areas of leadership and talent development. He consults with businesses and professional firms that are stuck, underperforming, having growing pains, or experiencing dissension and mistrust.

He is skilled at facilitating the difficult conversations that many executives and lawyers avoid or leave incomplete. Founder and managing director of organizational consulting and coaching firm whose business clients include: Southern California Edison, Experian Interactive, KIA Motors America, Sage North America, Genentech, Hewlett-Packard, Lucent Technologies, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, and Xerox. Professional clients include Am Law 100 law firms and others that have been repeatedly recognized as “Best Places to Work” by the Los Angeles Business Journal and “Best of the Best Managed Firms in the USA” by Inside Public Accounting. Director, executive, and general counsel for the largest sporting goods wholesaler in the western United States, representing it in securities, commercial, real estate, and intellectual property matters. Coordinated the activities of numerous outside law firms retained for products liability, employment, and Prop 65 matters. Responsible for strategic and succession planning that engineered the company’s turnaround, resulting in its sale at a substantial premium over book value and widely accepted multiples. Over twenty years of experience as a business lawyer representing domestic and Pacific Rim clients such as Yamaha, Sumitomo Bank, and Toshiba in global and emerging markets. Diverse firm experience as member of a local firm that grew from 7 lawyers to 350 worldwide.
