Beverly A. Loder has 30 years of communications experience, the past 23 within the legal industry. She is currently Marketing Director at Fitch, Even, Tabin & Flannery LLP, a midsized Intellectual Property law firm based in Chicago, with offices in Washington, DC; Boulder, CO; and Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Luis Obispo, CA.

Prior to her present role, she served as Marketing Director to another Chicago-based law firm. Beverly began her tenure within the legal industry with the American Bar Association, where she worked for nearly 18 years. As Director of Book Publishing for the ABA Law Practice Management Section for over 12 years, Beverly directed the acquisitions, development, production, and marketing of over 125 highly regarded books and other media products focusing on law firm marketing, management, technology, finance, and career issues. Now an active member of the ABA and its Law Practice Management Section, Beverly is Features Editor for Law Practice magazine and serves on the Steering Committee of the ABA Women Rainmakers. She was Editor of the Legal Marketing Association Midwest Chapter newsletter from 2008-2012.

Of recently inducted Fellows, Beverly Loder may be the most widely known by others in the College. Her publishing career at the ABA had her leading and meeting multi-million dollar revenue goals and gently guiding the stalwarts in our profession – practicing lawyers, marketers, technologists and others – as they diligently worked to finish their books. As many of the authors in this room will attest, they could never have made it through this process without Bev’s rigor, diligence and leadership. She now approaches her in-house marketing career with the same high standards – combining marketing and sales knowledge with a drive to help her lawyers increase their successes. I’m pleased to welcome Beverly Loder as a Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management.
