Burgess Allison is the IT Director for MITRE’s Center for Advanced Aviation System Development (CAASD). MITRE is a not-for-profit systems engineering firm that operates Federally Funded Research and Development Centers for the U.S. government; CAASD works with the Federal Aviation Administration and other organizations around the world to modernize air traffic management systems and practices. Burgess is a Fellow in the College of Law Practice Management and is an active member of the American Bar Association’s Law Practice Management Section (LPMS). He wrote the “Technology Update” column in Law Practice Management magazine for 18 years, and authored “The Lawyer’s Guide to the Internet.” He has served on the Council for LPMS, and as Publisher and Technical Editor for LPM magazine. Burgess has a J.D. from the University of Michigan and a B.A. from the University of Delaware.
