CITATION UPON INDUCTION INTO THE COLLEGE
Since the late 1990s, Glenn Rawdon, currently Program Counsel for Technology at the Legal Services Corporation, has played a critical role in promoting the use of technology to increase access to justice for people who cannot afford to pay for counsel. He is an entrepreneur in the very best sense. He is simultaneously creative and pragmatic, and he knows how to move great ideas to implementation.
In addition, Glenn has an unusual ability to understand the legal needs of low-income people and to identify accessible technologies that can provide meaningful assistance to them. He is an essential part of LSC’s Technology Initiative Grants program, which, since its inception, has awarded $45 million in grants to more than 500 projects to improve access to justice for low-income people. Glenn is on any knowledgeable person’s short list of those who know the most about using technology to improve access to justice and we are proud to induct him as a Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management.
