Jimmy Brill is a solo practitioner in Houston Texas concentrating in probate, estate planning, and real estate.  He is the principal author of the State Bar’s Texas Probate System, is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, Trusts and Estates. Jimmy was a founding member, served on the first council, and later chaired the Law Practice Management Section of the ABA.  He was inducted into the first class of the College of Law Practice Management, was an initial trustee, and also served as vice-president. He founded and leads Solos Supporting Solos, a group meeting monthly to serve the needs of solo practitioners in Houston.  He received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the General Practice, Solo and Small Firms Section of the ABA. Jimmy received the State Bar of Texas Presidents’ Award as the outstanding lawyer in Texas and its awards for professionalism and for excellence in continuing legal education. He actively collects stamps, covers, and memorabilia from Pitcairn Island.
