Kenneth R. O’Brien is a principal of The Profile Search Group. Ken possesses extensive experience in the private and public legal arena and over 15 years experience recruiting legal and management talent. Ken is experienced in large law firm management, recruiting, and reorganizations. Ken advises law firms on recruiting lateral partners and expansion issues including practice group acquisition. Ken also recruits Counsel and Management Talent for In-House Legal Departments.

Prior to establishing The Profile Search Group, Ken held senior management positions with three major law firms: Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen and Hamilton in New York City, Choate, Hall & Stewart in Boston, and McGuire, Woods in Richmond. Prior to his work with private law firms, Ken spent eight years in the New York County District Attorney’s Office and the New York City judicial system. Ken has a B.B.A. from Bernard Baruch College of the City University of New York.
