Reid Trautz is a management advisor to attorneys and law firms in the areas of business processes, technology, marketing, and legal ethics. He is Director, Practice & Professionalism Center of the American Association of Immigration Lawyers. He is Chair of the ABA TECHSHOW 2012 and serves on the ABA LPM Section governing council. A highly regarded speaker and author, Reid is co-author of the ABA book The Busy Lawyer’s Guide to Success: Essential Tips to Power Your Practice. He blogs on innovation in management, governance and ethics for lawyers at Reid My Blog!

Reid Trautz has been an exemplary practice management advisor since 1995. Through his candid, knowledgeable, practical advice on all areas of practice management, he has had a profound impact on the professional lives of innumerable lawyers and law firms. He’s now the Director of the Practice and Professionalism Center at the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Reid has also been a tireless promoter of the practice management advisor concept, a generous supporter of other PMA programs and an unstinting mentor to new practice advisors. He has made a major contribution to all levels of the ABA, including chairing the Publications Board of the ABA Law Practice Management section from 2004 to 2007. He is a member of the ABA General Practice Solo and Small Firm Section Technology Board, and a past liaison to the ABA Joint Committee on Lawyer Regulation.

Reid has published extensively and has made numerous presentations on practice management issues at local, state, national and international events. He is an expert on legal ethics as well as practice management.

On top of all that, he’s a good guy to have as a friend.
