Stacy Clark has been advising law firms and lawyers on how to grow their businesses for over 20 years. Stacy assists law firms and individual lawyers on a daily basis in creating and executing (easy) strategic marketing plans; organizing successful client seminars and events, preparing targeted industry marketing efforts and implementing countless other marketing activities–that really work.  She has counseled hundreds of lawyers on how to develop new work from existing and prospective clients and forge strong and beneficial relationships with referral sources.

Stacy is one of the founders of the Delaware Valley Law Firm Marketing Group (DVLFMG), a member of the ABA’s Law Practice Management Section, the national Law Marketing Association, the DVLFMG and the Chester County Bar Association. A graduate of Cornell University, Ms. Clark received her law degree from Washington University in St. Louis, where she was a member of the Washington University Law Quarterly.

CITATION UPON INDUCTION INTO THE COLLEGE

In 1986, Stacy West Clark persuaded her law firm that it should have a marketing staff person. An associate at the time, she wrote a proposal that firm management couldn’t resist, and she joined a handful of other in-house marketing pioneers in helping to organize and improve client relations and business development efforts.

Stacy also became a leader in the growing Philadelphia-area law firm marketing community. She hosted the first meeting of this region’s in-house marketers in 1990 and has mentored and supported new law firm marketers throughout her career. Stacy has always shared her knowledge and experience with others. She gave presentations at early NALFMA (the predecessor organization of LMA) meetings and was vice chair of the ABA LPM’s Marketing Administrators Committee in the late 80s. She has written many articles.

A consultant since the mid-1990s, Stacy uses her skills as a lawyer and as a marketer to help small and mid-size firms improve their marketing. As a Fellow, we know that Stacy will once again contribute her energy and enthusiasm.
