Tony Williams has more than 25 years experience in the legal profession. During this time he has held a variety of roles both in the UK and internationally. Since 2002 Tony has operated as a principal of Jomati Consultants, an international strategic consultancy to the legal profession based in London. Before establishing Jomati Consultants in 2002 Tony had been a partner at Clifford Chance. In addition to working in London he had also headed the firms corporate practice in Hong Kong and been managing partner of the firms Moscow office. In 1997 he was elected worldwide managing partner of Clifford Chance. In 2000 he joined Andersen Legal (the legal arm of Arthur Andersen) to be global managing partner. In 2001 Andersen Legal was a top 10 global firm in terms of fee income. After the Enron crisis he managed the dissolution of Andersen Legal prior to establishing Jomati Consultants. In Jomati Consultants he advises a range of clients in the UK, Europe, US and Asia on a range of strategic and management issues including mergers and strategic alliances.
