Paul Graham Ulrich


Born November 29, 1938, Paul Graham Ulrich died March 11, 2025, at age 86. 

Paul was a former Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management, inducted in 1994. He graduated from Stanford Law School in 1964 where he was Managing Editor for the Stanford Law Review. Paul's distinguished legal career began as a law clerk at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (1964-65). He then joined Lewis and Roca law in Phoenix, where he specialized in civil appeals from 1965-85. Paul later established his own appellate firm where he practiced until retiring in 2012. He was involved in more than 600 appeals, beginning with Miranda v. Arizona (U.S. 1966), in addition to his litigation practice. Paul was involved in many educational efforts to improve appellate practice and law practice management generally.
